Questions people ask

How many cameras do I need?

It depends on the property: cover the gate, every door and any side passage someone could use. A 2-camera package starts from R4 500 and a 4-camera package from R7 500, and we suggest where the cameras should go before we quote.

Can I watch my cameras on my phone?

Yes, if the recorder is connected to your internet. Remote viewing setup starts from R1 200, and whether it works on an existing system depends on the recorder you have.

DVR or NVR: what is the difference?

A DVR records wired analogue cameras; an NVR records IP cameras, which usually give a sharper picture and can carry power and video on one network cable. If you already have cameras, the recorder has to match them. DVRs start from R2 800 and NVRs from R3 800.

My alarm keeps going off for no reason. Can you fix it?

Usually. False alarms are mostly a faulty or badly placed sensor, a flat backup battery, or insects, pets or plants setting off a beam. Alarm repairs start from R1 800.
