Gas is where Fix Pro started: the business grew out of Premier Gas. We install and service LPG across the City Bowl, the Southern Suburbs and the Northern Suburbs, from a cylinder and a new hob to a gas geyser or a full house installation.

Fix Pro is a managed service. The gas work is done by our in-house team, or a vetted gas installer for specialist work, and your Project Manager runs the job from the first call, agrees the price with you, sends the right person, and checks the work is finished properly.

Questions people ask

I can smell gas. What should I do?

Close the valve on the cylinder, open doors and windows, and do not switch lights or appliances on or off. Never use a flame to look for a leak. Once you are outside, call us; leak detection starts from R1 200.

Do I need a gas Certificate of Conformity?

Yes. A gas installation needs one when it is installed or changed, and buyers and transfer attorneys usually ask for a valid one when you sell. Gas CoCs start from R1 400 on our price list.

Can the gas cylinder go inside?

Not for a fixed installation. The cylinders go outside on a firm, level base, away from drains, openings and anything that could cause a spark, and the gas is piped in. Where exactly depends on your property, and we check that before we quote.

Is it worth switching to a gas geyser?

It depends on how much hot water you use and where the geyser can go, because a gas geyser needs proper ventilation or an outside wall. Gas geyser installation starts from R7 500, and we tell you what your installation would cost before you decide.
