We do carpentry across the City Bowl, the Southern Suburbs and the Northern Suburbs: small repairs like a door that drags or a cupboard hinge that has pulled out, and bigger work like a new deck, a pergola or cupboards built to fit.

Fix Pro is a managed service. The carpentry is done by our in-house team, or a vetted carpenter for specialist work, and your Project Manager runs the job from the first call, agrees the price with you, sends the right person, and checks the work is finished properly.

Questions people ask

My door sticks. Does it need replacing?

Usually not. Most sticking doors come down to loose hinges, a frame that has moved or timber that swells in the wet months, and door repairs start from R950. We only suggest a new door if the door itself is split or rotten.

Should I repair my deck or replace it?

It depends on the frame underneath. If the joists and posts are sound, replacing loose or rotten boards is usually enough; if the frame itself is soft, a new deck is the better spend. Deck repairs start from R2 200 and new decks from R4 500.

Can you make cupboards to fit an awkward space?

Yes. Custom cabinets start from R3 500, and the price depends on the size, the material and the finish, so we measure first and quote before anything is made.

Do you change locks?

Yes. Lock replacement starts from R850 and fitting a new lock from R750 on our price list. If you want more than new locks, see our security systems page.
